The sculptures utilize aspects of the Cathedral’s medieval architecture and iconography as sources for their labyrinthine form. They are sited at the intersection of the medieval pilgrimage path; up the nave and clockwise around the main altar and down into the crypt and counterclockwise around St. Mungo’s tomb.
